GATEWAY SALES SUMMIT

Each year in January, Gateway hosts an annual Sales Summit at a fun resort location such as Cancun or Las Vegas. Two days of guest speakers, training seminars and team-building activities prepare Gateway Branches for the coming year.

AWARDS

Gateway believes in recognizing leadership and productivity at all levels of the organization. Every January during the Sales Summit, prior year sales leaders receive awards in recognition of their accomplishments.

Gateway believes in equipping Branch Managers with the tools necessary to effectively run their business, and then staying out of the way. How branches utilize Gateway’s resources is within their control, but a great number of marketing, training, and communication resources are available.

MARKETING

Each branch receives a comprehensive launch kit called Branch In A Box:

Official logos, advertising templates, compliance notices, sales flip charts, even a CD filled with electronic materials called Branch On A Disc give branches everything they need to get started and operate smoothly.

TRAINING

All branches are required to attend Branch Training at the corporate headquarters upon opening their branch. This two day seminar brings new branches up-to-speed on Gateway policies and practices. Annual trainings at each January Sales Summit keep branches current on new policies and changes in the industry.

Product seminars, such as FHA lending practices, fraud, and other subjects are offered throughout the year as continuing education courses. Some seminars are also available on DVD. Please check the Gateway Store section of this website for DVDs and other training materials.

COMMUNICATION

In addition to daily e-mails and faxes, Gateway stays in contact with branches via websites such as www.gatewaybranch.com and www.gatewaysummit.com.

Weekly conference calls are hosted each Monday by Gateway executives to discuss important issues and get feedback from branches. Branches are encouraged to dial in and participate as often as possible.

A monthly newsletter updating branches summarizing recent activities is distributed by e-mail. Click here for a sample newsletter.

In the near future, Gateway plans to expand branch communications with podcasts and video e-mail updates.
